ManualMaster successfully implemented in
Zambia and Uganda
During three days implementation courses in
Zambia and Uganda from January 28 to
February 5, the document controllers of the
Zambian National Blood Transfusion Service
(ZNBTS) and the Uganda Blood Transfusion
Service (UBTS) have been trained in the use
and application of ManualMaster. These
training courses have been given by Sanquin
Consulting Services and ManualMaster in a
very good cooperation both in Lusaka
(Zambia) and in Kampala (Uganda).
The ZNBTS and UBTS will use ManualMaster to
control and distribute both Process
Descriptions, Standard Operating Procedures
and the necessary outcome forms. As a start
both organisations have realistically chosen
to make the information available to
co-workers issuing paper manuals. Later the
issuing approach shall be changed using an
intranet system.
At the end of the three days training all
document controllers have passed a test and
received a certificate. During the training
the time was used to set-up a structure that
now has to be filled in with all available
information.
The ManualMaster trainings have been
conducted by Mr. W. Adriani (Sanquin
Consulting Services) and Mr. M. Mourik
(ManualMaster)
